This highly interactive, nuts-and-bolts workshop, entitled Work $mart, focuses on salary negotiations for working women in any sector. It is designed to give participants the tools, techniques, strategy and confidence to get paid fairly.

The workshop is being offered jointly by the City of Boston, Wonder Women of Boston, and Collaboratory 4.0. 

The workshop will be facilitated by Chardline Chanel-Faiteau and Kristie DeSena

Chardline Chanel-Faiteau works in the Mayor’s Office as a special project assistant and liaison to the Haitian Community of Boston. She was born and raised in Dorchester, MA and graduated from Suffolk University with a degree in Law and Criminology and a Minor in Black Studies and Governmental Relations. She is very excited to teach women how to negotiate for what they deserve because it is an amazing form of empowerment! 

Kristie DeSena works for the City of Boston's Mayor's Youthline & Youth Council as the supervisor of the Mayor's Youthline, a peer-listening and resource office with the goal of connecting youth and families to affordable resources and opportunities. Kristie has a passion for youth development and loves working with Boston's teens. She hopes to become a high school counselor in the future. Kristie graduated with a Bachelor's in Journalism from Northeastern University and is originally from New Jersey.
