Meet the Wonder Women of Boston Team!

Jeanne Dasaro
Founder, Advisory Board

As founder of the Wonder Women of Boston network, Jeanne Dasaro helps women leaders, artists, and professionals of diverse backgrounds connect with and support each other. She is a Boston-based storyteller, activist, and event coordinator as well as an avid crafter and bicycle rider. As a videographer, Jeanne developed and produced North End Stories, a project that has been featured by The Boston Globe that continues today, and has created short films for Boston Rising, Shikshantar, and Prosperity Catalyst.

From 2008-2012, Jeanne served as Co-Founder of The New Prosperity Initiative (NPi), a community media organization dedicated to social justice, knowledge-sharing, and dialogue across for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Jeanne believes stories have the power to inform, connect, and inspire--all things that can help embolden us to take an interest and make a difference in our communities. Her work at present focuses on storytelling that creates a sense of deep connection to place. For her work with NPi, Jeanne has been featured in O Magazine and The Boston Globe. Follow Jeanne on Twitter @JeanneDasaro.
